One of my resolutions for 2008 is to get into the habit of sketching for one hour every day. I want to step up my game and get a better grip on the human anatomy. (not to mention motion, composition and perspective…)

Well, new habits are hard to instill in oneself, so this is one of only 5-7 sketches I got done in January. Fleshing out the silhouette with pencil strokes was a lot of fun. ^__^

Three generations of elven noblewomen. Grand destiny, beauty, dignity and impressive heritage — shrunk down to adorable chibi proportions. ^_^

I have made a set of three ACEO art cards from this image, and I think this is my most successful attempt to date. Maybe chibies and ACEOs are just meant for each other, but with the punch embossed corners and the little rhinestones these cards are just too cute!
