Commissions and auctions

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Hullo cozins! I’d like to announce that I am currently accepting commissions. Manga, comics, fanart or whathaveyou. If you’d like a piece of original artwork from me, drop me a line. ^_^ Thanks!

Supergirl by Olga Ulanova

artist pens and watercolors on 100lb Aquarelle paper

Supergirl in an art deco style. Well, somewhat art deco-ish, anyhow.  ^_^  I don’t really know enough about the movement to use it well.

I royally messed up the first incarnation of this piece. Which is for the better — I was able to fix some proportional issues. The second time around I put lots of energy into the hair, got it all colored and when the piece was done,… all the mistakes in her face jumped out at me. XD Ah, live and learn!

This image, as well as a pinup of Catwoman, is available for auction, ending this Sunday and Monday. Please take a look. :)

Tomorrow, Jasson Hoppe is leading a special webinar on moving faster in InDesign CS3 and CS4. He’s got a ton of stuff to share, and he just emailed me a note: “There is so much good info in here that I hate to have only a few people sign up. Let’s give it away!”

So, we’re doing it again!
