Clio Saga

Clio Saga (or Soraya Saga) is the amazing woman who worked on Xenogears. Her doujinshi and comics are as canon as you can get, for she created several of the main characters, as well as working on the story arc. I greatly admire her imagination and art, and wanted to make her work available to the larger public. (not to mention her books are disgustingly expensive and nearly impossible to get a hold of. :)

Takashima Kazusa

The reasons why Takashima sensei rocks my world are too numerous to list. Like so many before she got her start in doujinshi, creating many delicious Houshin Engi books under the circle name Takashima-ya. (they leaned heavily in favor of Tenka, and brightened many a chilly night, all those moons ago.) She can do “sexy” as well as “funny,” does not shy away from incest, and draws the male body like it’s nobody’s business. ♥ I was thrilled to see her expand into the professional manga scene, and Takashima sensei has been progressively getting even better. Here’s to many more years of awesome art!

Yumeka Sumomo

Known to most fans as Sasshi (of circle Chikyuu-ya), Yumeka-sensei is rumored to be a layout artist for Studio Gibli.
I first discovered her lovely artwork through Gundam Wing and then Naruto doujinshi. She has a very delicate and simple style, and has been a great inspiration to me for many years. (some of us like our boys looking like girls ^_~)
