Sakura started blooming around Seattle in late March, and some varieties are still going strong. There's only so much I can take before it moves me to draw something.

This was easy breezy, experimental fun. Tho frustrating at the same time because 90% into the process I got the dreaded "unexpected end-of-file" error. XD d'oh. I had a setup file saved, so had to redo only half the image.

Time: 8 hours (but 3 of those were spent on trying to actually vectorize the image (no way, I'll stick to Photoshop), find my Wacom setup CD, and redo the image after the file got corrupted.)

I can say one thing with certainty: I've never combined those particular colors before. XD
