Because of a hook-up through my super awesome godfather, I got to wear a "Barbara Gordon" badge at the New York Comicon in February 09. Needless to say I was tickled pink about that. :D

well, somewhat art deco-ish, anyhow. :) I don't know enough about the movement to use it well.

I royally messed up the first incarnation of this image. Which is for the better - I was able to fix some proportional issues. The second time around I put lots of energy into the hair, got it all colored and when it was done,... all the mistakes in her face jumped out at me. XD Ah, live and learn!

My favorite villainess from the DC universe, and the sexiest red headed eco-terrorist to ever defend the equal rights of all foliage everywhere! :)

Painting Ivy's hair was the best part. ^_^ I think I'm finally learning to be patient with watercolors, I can now wait for the paint to dry before applying new layers.
